About Size 28 Bras

A 28 band does most of the work — around 80% of your support comes from the band, not the straps. If it rides up at the back or the straps dig in, the band's usually too loose or the cup too small.

Is 28 a small bra size?

A 28 is the smallest band we cut, so yes — it's a small band, meaning a snug ribcage of roughly 26–28 inches. But a small band isn't a small bust: a 28 can carry anything from a D to a K cup. The number is the size of your ribcage, not your bust.

Is 28 size L or M?

A 28 is a band measurement, not a dress size, so it doesn't map cleanly to S/M/L — as a ribcage of about 26–28 inches it sits at the petite end. Your cup is what reflects your bust. If you've been sized in clothing terms, book a fitting to pin down your real bra size.

Is a 28G bra big?

"G" sounds big, but a cup letter only means something next to its band. On a small 28 band a G holds a fuller bust close to the body — a genuine fuller-bust size most shops skip, not an extreme one. Cup volume is always relative to the band.
