About Size 34DD Bras

A 34DD is a 34 band with a DD cup — a fuller cup. The band does most of the work (around 80% of your support), so if it rides up at the back or the straps dig in, it's the band to fix, not you.

It's a moderate fuller size. DD is just one step above D, on an average 34 band — full, but the band does the support work, so it wears neater than it sounds.

What is a 34DD bust size?

About a 34-inch ribcage with a bust roughly 5 inches larger. The 34 is your band; the DD is the gap up to your fullest point.

Is 34DD considered a plus size?

No — cup size and clothing size are unrelated. A 34DD is simply a fuller cup on a standard band; people of all body sizes wear it. Scoop grades it for support, not category.

Which is bigger, 34DD or 34B?

34DD, by two cups. Same band, but DD is two steps above B, so it holds noticeably more. Very different shapes through the cup.
