About Size 42F Bras

A 42F is a 42 band with an F cup — a generously full cup. The band does most of the work (around 80% of your support), so if it rides up at the back or the straps dig in, it's the band to fix, not you.

What is a 42F bra size?

The 42 is your band — roughly a 42-inch ribcage — and the F is the cup, about 7 inches between your underbust and fullest point. Put together, 42F is one fitted size, not two separate measurements.

What does a good 42F fit feel like?

The 42 band should sit level and firm on the loosest hook — it does around 80% of the support. The F cup should hold you fully, with no spillage or gaping. If the band rides up or the straps dig in, the band's too loose or the cup too small. Book a fitting if you're unsure.
