About Size 28DD Bras

A 28DD is a 28 band with a DD cup — a fuller cup. The band does most of the work (around 80% of your support), so if it rides up at the back or the straps dig in, it's the band to fix, not you.

The 28 is your band — roughly a 28-inch ribcage — and the DD is the cup, about 5 inches between your underbust and fullest point. Put together, 28DD is one fitted size, not two separate measurements.

Is a 28DD bigger than a 28D?

On the same 28 band, cups run D, DD, E — so a 28DD is one cup fuller than a 28D and one less than a 28E. Same band, just more or less cup depth.
