About Size 36K Bras

A 36K is a 36 band with a K cup — one of the deepest cups out there. The band does most of the work (around 80% of your support), so if it rides up at the back or the straps dig in, it's the band to fix, not you.

Is 36K a large size?

The 36 band is mid-range and K is 11 steps above a D, so 36K is a deep, specialist cup on a middle band. A cup letter only means something next to its band, and the band carries most of the support.

What is 36K in US sizing?

There's no exact US match. Above a D cup, UK and US cup letters stop lining up (US adds DDD, then keeps diverging), so Scoop's UK 36K doesn't convert one-to-one to a US 36K. A fitting is the safest way to find your closest US equivalent.

What is 36K equivalent to?

Its closest sister size — the same cup volume on a different band — is 38JJ. If the 36 band doesn't sit right, that's the first size to try.
