About Size 28G Bras

A 28G is a 28 band with a G cup — a deep, fuller-bust cup. The band does most of the work (around 80% of your support), so if it rides up at the back or the straps dig in, it's the band to fix, not you.

Questions, answered

What size is a 28G?

The 28 is your band — roughly a 28-inch ribcage — and the G is the cup, about 9 inches between your underbust and fullest point. Put together, 28G is one fitted size, not two separate measurements.

Is the band or the cup more important in a 28G?

The band. In a 28G, the 28 band gives most of the lift and support; the G cup just needs to hold your volume without spilling. A loose band is the most common fit problem, so that's where to start.

Which is bigger, 28G or 28GG?

On the same 28 band, cups run FF, G, GG — so a 28G is one cup fuller than a 28FF and one less than a 28GG. Same band, just more or less cup depth.
