About Size 36GG Bras

A 36GG is a 36 band with a GG cup — a deeper, fuller-bust cup. The band does most of the work (around 80% of your support), so if it rides up at the back or the straps dig in, it's the band to fix, not you.

Is 36GG a large size?

The 36 band is mid-range and GG is 6 steps above a D, so 36GG is a deep, specialist cup on a middle band. A cup letter only means something next to its band, and the band carries most of the support.

How should a 36GG bra fit?

The 36 band should sit level and firm on the loosest hook — it does around 80% of the support. The GG cup should hold you fully, with no spillage or gaping. If the band rides up or the straps dig in, the band's too loose or the cup too small. Book a fitting if you're unsure.

What is 36GG equivalent to?

Its sister sizes — same cup volume, a different band — are 34H (snugger band, deeper cup) and 38G (roomier band, shallower cup). If the 36 band feels tight, try 38G; if it's loose, 34H.
