Snug Underband
Measure around your body, right where the bottom of your breasts meet your chest. If you have softer/saggy tissue, you may need to lift your breasts up to take the measurement in the right place.
The tape should dig into your skin a little (not uncomfortably), so that it doesn't move freely. Remember to exhale and relax your shoulders.
Tight Underband
Measure around the same part but this time pull the tape as tight as possible, as if it could almost break.
Exhale and relax your shoulders.
Standing Overbust
Measure loosely around the fullest part of your breasts while standing. This might be around your nipple line.
Make sure you are not compressing your breast tissue with the tape.
Leaning Overbust
Lean over at 90 degrees from the hip and measure loosely around the fullest part of your breasts. Remember not to compress your tissue.
This is often more than your standing measurement.
And lastly...
When you lean over at 90 degrees and let your breasts hang freely, how much space is naturally between them?
Just a friendly reminder
Scoop is a judgment-free zone where your bra size isn't 'too much', it's just right.
