About Size 34D Bras

A 34D is a 34 band with a D cup — a fuller cup. The band does most of the work (around 80% of your support), so if it rides up at the back or the straps dig in, it's the band to fix, not you.

34D is often seen as a 'standard' fuller size — a D cup is the entry to fuller-bust, on a middle-of-the-range 34 band. It's full but not large, and the band carries the support.

Is a 34D medium or large?

It sits right in the middle. The 34 band is average and the D cup is moderate, so 34D reads as a medium fuller-bust size rather than a large one.

Is a 34D bigger than a 34C?

Yes, by one cup. Same 34 band, but D is one step above C, so a 34D holds a little more. If a 34C cup feels tight, 34D is the size up.

Is 34D or 36C bigger?

They're sister sizes — the same cup volume. The 36C has a bigger band; the 34D a snugger band with a slightly deeper-looking cup. Pick by band fit, not the letter.
