About Size 36D Bras

A 36D is a 36 band with a D cup — a fuller cup. The band does most of the work (around 80% of your support), so if it rides up at the back or the straps dig in, it's the band to fix, not you.

What size is a 36D bra?

A 36-inch band with a D cup — a moderate fuller size on a roomier band. The 36 carries the support; the D is the entry-level fuller cup.

Which is bigger, 34D or 36D?

36D — same cup letter, but the bigger 36 band means more actual cup volume. A 36D also runs looser around the ribcage than a 34D.

Are D breasts large?

A D cup is the start of the fuller-bust range — full, but moderate, and always relative to the band. A 36D and a 30D hold quite different volumes despite the same letter.
