About Size 40G Bras

A 40G is a 40 band with a G cup — a deep, fuller-bust cup. The band does most of the work (around 80% of your support), so if it rides up at the back or the straps dig in, it's the band to fix, not you.

What does 40G mean?

The 40 is your band — roughly a 40-inch ribcage — and the G is the cup, about 9 inches between your underbust and fullest point. Put together, 40G is one fitted size, not two separate measurements.

Is a 40G bigger than a 40FF?

On the same 40 band, cups run FF, G, GG — so a 40G is one cup fuller than a 40FF and one less than a 40GG. Same band, just more or less cup depth.
