A 42 size bra is a fuller band — a 42 lands on the fuller, wider end of the UK range — but that's a ribcage measurement, not a bust one. The cup letter on top is what tracks your bust, and a 42 runs all the way from a D to a K. We make every one of them with real support built in.

Measure snugly around your ribcage, just under your bust, in inches. If that lands around 40–42 inches, a 42 band is your likely starting point. It should feel firm, not loose — the band is what holds you up.

Scoop carries Size 42 in D through K. Spilling over the top or the sides? Go up a cup. Cup gaping or wrinkling at the edge? Go down. Because cups are relative to the band, sister sizes hold the same volume across bands — a 42FF is close to a 40G or a 44F. Use the cup filter above to jump straight to yours.

Band level and snug — you should just slide two fingers underneath, no more. Cups smooth with the bust fully inside, no spilling over and no gaping.
