About Size 28E Bras

A 28E is a 28 band with an E cup — a full cup. The band does most of the work (around 80% of your support), so if it rides up at the back or the straps dig in, it's the band to fix, not you.

Is 28E a large size?

The 28 band is snug and E is 2 steps above a D, so 28E is a compact fuller-bust size — full through the cup but neat overall. A cup letter only means something next to its band, and the band carries most of the support.

What is 28E in US sizing?

There's no exact US match. Above a D cup, UK and US cup letters stop lining up (US adds DDD, then keeps diverging), so Scoop's UK 28E doesn't convert one-to-one to a US 28E. A fitting is the safest way to find your closest US equivalent.

What is 28E equivalent to?

Its closest sister size — the same cup volume on a different band — is 30DD. If the 28 band doesn't sit right, that's the first size to try.
