Search for bra brands in India and the lists at the top of Google have one thing in common: each Indian roundup is written by a brand, and each one puts itself at number one. That's marketing, not a fitting. The more useful question: which bra brands actually make your size?
Below, we sort the brands by the bands and cups they make, and say where each one stops, including the brands we sell. If the mall brands haven't been giving you enough support, our guide to bras for a heavy bust is a good next read.
Which is the best bra brand?
There's no single best bra brand. The best bra brands in India for you are the ones that make your band and your cup. Most mainstream Indian brands stop at about a DD. Fuller-bust specialists such as Panache, Curvy Kate and Sculptresse by Panache start around there and go much further, and Sculptresse is built around bigger bands.

The brands, and the bra to start with from each
Panache makes a full size range across everyday, sports, strapless and plunge bras, designed for fuller busts from the start.
1. Envy Full Cup
₹5,699 · Panache
- Size range: bands 28–38, cups DD–J
- Wired / wireless: underwired
- Coverage: full cup
- Padding: unlined, no padding
- Advantage: firm lower cups lift and separate, while the stretch lace top moves with you
- Limitation: unlined, so it can show through thin, tight tops; no bands above 38
- Choose this if… you want one everyday bra that lifts, separates and covers
The firm lower cups hold you up and apart, and the stretch lace top smooths over if you're fuller on top. It runs true to size, and the bands start at 28, a size many shops don't make at all.

2. Smoothie Spacer
₹5,999 · Curvy Kate
- Size range: bands 30–38, cups DD–J
- Wired / wireless: underwired
- Coverage: plunge, lower in the centre
- Padding: light spacer cups, a thin, breathable foam that holds a smooth shape without bulk
- Advantage: a smooth, rounded shape under fitted tops; the straps convert to a racerback
- Limitation: the low centre gives less coverage up top than a full cup
- Choose this if… you want a T-shirt bra that doesn't show lines and doesn't add bulk
Most deep-cup T-shirt bras are thick and stiff. This one is light, and a firmer panel at the side of each cup brings you forward instead of out towards your arms.

3. Lovelace Full Cup
₹5,299 · Curvy Kate
- Size range: bands 30–38, cups E–K
- Wired / wireless: underwired
- Coverage: full cup, high coverage
- Padding: unlined stretch lace
- Advantage: the deepest cups in this guide, with broad straps and a side panel that brings you forward
- Limitation: runs wide in the cups, so it suits wider shapes best; lace can show under thin T-shirts
- Choose this if… you need a deep cup with full coverage and want lace without padding
Try Lovelace if your cup letter is one most shops have never heard of. The lace follows your shape instead of cutting in, and the broad straps spread the weight.
Shop the Lovelace →Sculptresse by Panache is Panache's range for fuller figures, built on bigger bands.
4. Estel Full Cup
₹6,999 · Sculptresse by Panache
- Size range: bands 42–44, cups E–FF
- Wired / wireless: underwired
- Coverage: full cup
- Padding: lined lower cups with stretch lace upper cups; not padded
- Advantage: side slings bring you towards the centre, and the double-layer side panels feel soft and smooth
- Limitation: a narrow size run (bands 42–44, cups E–FF) in one colour, Honey
- Choose this if… you wear a 42 or 44 band and want a full cup that's built for it
The lined lower cups give a lifted, forward shape, and the stretch lace on top gives a forgiving fit.
Shop the Estel →Samanta makes decorative balcony bras and matching sets: unlined lace, inner slings and gold hardware, elegant but made for everyday wear.
5. Perla Balcony
₹6,699 · Samanta
- Size range: bands 30–38, cups DD–GG
- Wired / wireless: underwired
- Coverage: balcony, with more coverage than most balcony bras
- Padding: unlined lace with inner slings
- Advantage: lifts into a round shape and feels soft and breathable; there's a matching brief
- Limitation: runs one cup deeper, so you may need a cup size down; unlined lace can show through thin fabric
- Choose this if… you want a bra that feels special without giving up lift
The inner slings, firmer strips inside the cup, do the lifting, so the lace on top can stay light and pretty.

A famous name tells you nothing about your size. Check these first:
- Does it make your band? Many ranges start at 32 and stop at 38 or 40, so 28s, 30s and 40s are often missing.
- Does it go past DD, in your band? Some brands list a DD in only one or two bands.
- Does it make more than padded styles in your size? If every option in your size is padded, the range is thin there.
- Is the band firm? The band does most of the supporting; a soft, stretchy one gives up fast.
- Are the cups deep enough? The wire should sit behind your breast tissue, not on it.
- Does it publish a size chart? Check the brand's own chart, not a roundup, this one included. Our bra size chart explains why the same letter can mean different sizes at different brands.
Indian bra brands and the sizes they stop at
Indian bra brands do everyday sizes well, and their own websites show where each range ends.
Jockey's bra page lists sizes up to DD, and only in 34, 36 and 38 bands. Amanté's best-sellers page lists a DD only as 34DD, despite a page title that promises all sizes. Wacoal India is the exception among the big names: its bra page shows cups up to H in 34 and 36 bands.
For others, the roundups disagree: one says Zivame goes to an F cup, another says G; one says Enamor stops at D, another says D to F. Neither cites a source, so we won't print a number. Check the brand's own size chart.
The famous bra brands in India, the ones in every mall, are built around the middle of the size range. None of this means your size is rare. The gap is in what gets made and stocked, not in bodies.
What not to buy
- A bigger band to get a bigger cup. The band rides up at the back and the straps end up digging in.
- "Full figure" labels with no cup letter past D. "Full figure" on a tag isn't a size. Look for the cup letter.
- A padded-only range in your size. Padding should be a choice, not the only option.
- One-size or S/M/L styles sold for heavy breasts. A stretchy crop top can't hold weight the way a firm band and a real cup can.
Is your brand actually fitting you?
Try these in the bra you wear most:
- The band sits level and snug. It doesn't ride up when you lift your arms.
- No gaping, no spilling. The cup edge lies flat, with nothing spilling over the top or sides.
- The wire sits on your ribcage. All the way round, with the centre piece between the cups flat against your chest.
- The straps aren't doing the lifting. Slip them off your shoulders. If everything drops, the band is too loose.
If two or more fail, the brand isn't the problem; the size is. A fitter checks band and cup together.

Common questions
What are good brands of bras?
Good brands of bras make your size in more than one style. For fuller busts, Panache and Curvy Kate make cups well past DD, in wired, unlined and spacer styles, and Sculptresse by Panache makes bigger bands. For everyday sizes, the mainstream brands sold across India cover the middle of the range well. Start with your size, then choose the brand.
Why do I only find padded bras in my size?
Usually because a brand's range is thin past its core sizes, and the few styles it makes there are padded. That's a gap in the range, not a sign you need padding. Brands built for fuller busts make unlined lace in deep cups too: Envy Full Cup, Lovelace Full Cup and Perla Balcony are all unlined.
What is a luxury bra brand?
A luxury label charges for fabric, finish and design: fine lace, embroidery, metal hardware and matching sets. In India, Victoria's Secret's bras on its India website sit between about ₹7,000 and ₹10,000. Luxury isn't fit, though. Among the luxury bra brands in India, look first for the ones that make your size; Samanta's Perla Balcony is our pick for a bra that feels special in fuller-bust sizes.
Which bra brand is best for fit in India?
The one that makes your exact size, in a shape that suits you. Fit comes from the size first and the brand second. If you're not sure of your size, a fitting checks band and cup together and tells you which shapes suit you, so you can shop any brand with confidence.
What are the top 10 bras?
There isn't a universal top 10; the best bra for one body is wrong for another. Most lists of the top 10 best bra brands, or the top 5 bra brands in India, rank who sells the most, not who fits. A more useful list is by need: an everyday full cup (Envy), a T-shirt bra (Smoothie Spacer), deep-cup lace (Lovelace), a bigger band (Estel) and something pretty (Perla).
Are Indian bra brands as good as international ones?
For the sizes they make, many are, especially for everyday cotton and wireless bras at friendly prices. Where they differ is range: most mainstream Indian brands stop at about a DD, while fuller-bust specialists go much further. It isn't good versus bad; it's whether the brand makes your size.
Every list of bra brands has an angle, including this one: we sell the four brands above. So check the size first. The best of all the bra brands is the one that makes your size. If you don't know yours yet, book a fitting and find out.
